Todd Juneau is the firm founder and managing partner. Mr. Juneau has over 15 years experience as Registered Patent Attorney, focusing his practice on patent prosecution, in the building of domestic and international patent & trademark portfolios, analyzing patent positions and patent validity, particularly in the pharmaceutical, telecommunication, medical device, and biotechnology sectors, and providing advice to corporations and universities regarding patent & trademark matters.
Over his career, Mr. Juneau has written, filed, and managed over 350 U.S. patent applications and over 1200 international applications. In the last 6 years, Mr. Juneau has written, filed, and managed over 130 U.S. patent applications for corporate and university clients in various technologies, in addition to filing, prosecuting and managing numerous international PCT applications and dozens of National Phase applications in Europe, Japan, China, Korea, Canada, Brazil and Mexico. Mr. Juneau's practice has encompassed large corporations, start-up companies, major universities, and medical schools from around the world.
Before starting his own firm, Mr. Juneau was a partner at mid-size Washington, D.C. patent & trademark law firm where he worked for 9 years. During that time Mr. Juneau represented large pharmaceutical companies from France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States; multinational conglomerate companies; chemical companies; polymer companies, biomedical companies; biotechnology companies; telecommunications (hardware and software) companies. Mr. Juneau managed part of a chemical and biotech department, overseeing a global portfolio covering a $2 billion a year proton pump inhibitor drug, a U.S. Portfolio for recombinant proteins and cancer therapies for start-up company, as well as a Global Portfolio with more than 1,000 patent filings for a small molecule neuro drug, to a name a few experiences.
Mr. Juneau has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in Federal District Court including actions for patent infringement, Section 337 trade-related patent infringement, trademark infringement, and breach of trade secrets. Mr. Juneau has been admitted to the District Court for the District of Columbia, the Florida Southern District Court at Fort Pierce, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
